Commencement honors mark day of graduates in Oak Park
In a packed First Congregational church on June 17, 27 graduates received diplomas after a program of music and orations. Notable performances included Miss Hedrick and the glee club, and addresses by Seeley Tompkins and A T Hemingway. Room was filled to capacity with friends and relatives. A separate note reports Denver’s summer cattle-shipping season beginning with 300 carloads arrived and 1000 more expected in ten days.
