Obituary of Mrs. Solomon Thatcher of River Forest
Mrs. Solomon Thatcher died after a long illness at 55 years of age at her River Forest home on Thatcher Avenue. Born in Chicago she lived in River Forest many years owning property and engaging in church and community work. Survived by son Frederick Thatcher and three daughters Mrs Frank Little Mrs Charles P Logan and Claribel Thatcher. Funeral was held Saturday at 1 pm with interment at Rosehill cemetery.

Berwyn Builder Robert Perkins Dies After Stroke
On Friday evening, Robert A. Perkins of 3330 Oak Park Avenue Berwyn collapsed from a ruptured blood vessel and died shortly after. A Mason and member of Royal Arcanum and Royal League, he helped shape Berwyn by building over twenty new houses. His funeral at St Michael and All Angels mission he founded will be Tuesday with fraternal services, then interment at Forest Home Cemetery. The text notes a second obituary line for Frederick Francis, whose funeral on July 20 in Montréal ends with remains sent there.
