Injunction Against Hawkins mee etas The new track dispute at Corrigan site
West Chicago Park Commissioners seek a temporary injunction against Hawkins et al to block a proposed horse racing track at the old Corrigan site in Chicago. The suit accuses promoters of gambling, pool selling, and bookmaking, noting prior nuisances under Ed Corrigan and urging preservation of neighborhoods on West Madison and West Fortieth streets.

The First Congregational Church at Angfin was formally dedicated Sunday after extensive reconstruction. Rev. James Thomphins delivered the dedicatory address from Psalm 121. The debt was paid in full after subscriptions closed, and the modern chapel includes ornate seating, infant and adult classes, and a memorial window for the donor W. Underwood.

Church Growth and Exhibitions Stir Southern Promoters
Henry of Crete was installed as pastor in February and organized a congregation of fifty six. In April the society bought land on Lan Waller Avenue and Chapel Street and began church construction, completed week before last. Prominent Southern business leaders invite Mr Harrison and Mr Glevaland to industrial exhibitions across southern towns, hoping for joint attendance to boost the South. The Baltimore Sun links defaulter treasurers to political corruption, while a question lingers over Prince of Wales title and the modern era. A recent anti Harrison Republican conference at Fadianapotin prompts reflection among Manitowens.
