Injunction Against Hawkins mee etas The new track dispute at Corrigan site

West Chicago Park Commissioners seek a temporary injunction against Hawkins et al to block a proposed horse racing track at the old Corrigan site in Chicago. Dedicates New Congregational Church at Angfin

The First Congregational Church at Angfin was formally dedicated Sunday after extensive reconstruction. Rev. James Thomphins delivered the dedicatory address from Psalm 121. The debt was paid in full after subscriptions closed, and the modern chapel includes ornate seating, infant and adult classes, and a memorial window for the donor W. Underwood.

Church Growth and Exhibitions Stir Southern Promoters

Henry of Crete was installed as pastor in February and organized a congregation of fifty six. In April the society bought land on Lan Waller Avenue and Chapel Street and began church construction, completed week before last. Prominent Southern business leaders invite Mr Harrison and Mr Glevaland to industrial exhibitions across southern towns, hoping for joint attendance to boost the South.
