Bright crowds attended the Easter Monday event at Baker's Hall. Mr and Mrs Rogers led the grand match of the Lady Foresters with Rhod O’Connor orchestra providing music. Supper ran from 11 pm to 4 am with over 1000 diners. ladies did all the work and were thanked for the superb viands. Each guest received a candy box and a souvenir. Proceeds are expected to raise around 150 to 500 dollars for the ladies' order.
Two physicians labeled the death of Matthew Clarissy’s 7 year old son as hydrophobia after a dog bite four months earlier. The boy developed throat pains and convulsions, frothing at the mouth, and died Saturday. The undertaker noted continued froth after death. The dog’s hydrophobia status remains unknown.

Dr Inglalls and Santee attended and his condition is very serious. Little Harry Shannon died after months of illness. funeral at the Catholic church with burial at Calvary. Samuel Dodd of 645 Van Buren street attempted suicide by jumping into the lake but was saved by Mrs Nellie Morse who pulled him to shore.
An inebriated man was jailed after a disturbance as a circus train carrying Gov. W Hall's show derailed on side tracks near forty sixth street. A baggage car and three palace cars were wrecked, and Mrs Hall suffered a fractured left hip in the crash. Doctor Phifctild treated her at Kinzie street.
On Monday evening at 6 at John Dickins's home 150 Fortieth street Episcopalian Rev C C Tate joined Olive Robbins and George Tr Hall in marriage. 200 invitations went out and guests filled the house. orchestra played and dancing followed at Lehman's hall.
