At Natley schools summer work included new desks at Yantacan, a new piano, sterilization, a science room plus a special class room, and a launch room for pupils. Washington School added two new classrooms, improved sidewalks, graded and seeded grounds. Three teachers resigned, prompting a board stance to pursue revocation of certificates with replacements named as George BR. Gove, Gladys Morgab, and Jane M. Ryan. Funeral of W H Clements in Passaic church service
Funeral services were held for William Hadley Clements of Hillside Avenue at St Pa Congregational Church after a private afternoon service at his home. Pneumonia was the cause. he died at General Hospital Passaic after a two month illness. He was 48, born in England, survived by his wife Emma, parents Thomas and Mirey Clements, siblings, and two children.
