Tie Up On the Erie Freight Yard Wreck Hurts Conductor
An Erie rail yard accident occurred on Kingsland street when three box cars and the locomotive leader derailed during a flying switch by a switchman. The derailment blocked the passenger track and required a wrecker to clear the scene. Conductor Boyd was slightly injured while other crew members escaped unharmed.

Automobile Accident on Chestnut Street Injures Kiersteads
Last Saturday on Chestnut Street near Hillside Avenue an automobile frightened the Kierstead horse causing a wagon overturn. Mr. Charles H. Kierstead suffered a severe head bruise and Mrs. Kierstead was shaken. both were attended by Dr. Philhower. The horse was recaptured and returned to its stable.

West Nutley Country Club secured a one year lease for Maxonic Hall to host winter and fall dances plays and entertainments for members and friends. A circulating library tag and a planned Woman's exchange will benefit year round. The terrace fete on August 18 drew many and thanks were given for patronage. Next meeting is September 8 at 2 oclock at Masonic Hall.

Arrest warrants issued for Kingsland Lacey and Woods
On a complaint from Councilman dnerg to Recorder Post warrants were issued for the arrest of Lawrence Kingsland Daniel Lacey and Edward Woods. They were arrested by Chief Elinabb and sent to the County Jail to await trial in Juvenile Court before Judge Len Eyck of Newark. The trio and others raided Joerg's Kingsland street property stealing grapes and misusing language when asked to leave.
