New Equipment Adds to Boys Pre Vocational School

Several new machines arrive at the Boys Pre Vocational School on Church Street including two Oliver under driven speed lathes and a LaBlonde screw cutting engine lathe order. A Buffalo forge drift vise and small pole complete the shop gear with basement access and powered motors. Four high school students have enrolled in advanced courses as the school expands hands on training.

Vincent Church Rally Day Events At Local Center

VINCENT Church hosts Rally Day events this afternoon at the EM Lab near Mountainview Avenue. A tea and social will follow a home optional event with admission paid at the door. Quarry Wall Not Settled At Town Board Meeting

At a Monday night meeting the Board of Commissioners discussed erecting a protective wall along dangerous quarry holes. A motion favored a wall with mortised wooden rails, but town officials noted higher costs with concrete posts. The town clerk reported receipt of $125 for a post office test.
