Town Council Considers Tax Reduction and Sale Prep

New School Classes Open in Town Hall Building
On Wednesday morning two classes for seventh and third grades from Park and Yantacaw schools opened in the Town Hall. Miss Minnie L. Davis of Tarrytown NY and Miss Jeanette Slock of Lakewood NJ teach the classes. The Building Committee abandoned plans for vacant stores and the overflow from larger schools is accommodated with little taxpayer expense.

Sad Death Of Young Lad Elmer Hallidy
Elmer Hallidy aged 15 son of Mr and Mrs David Hallidy of High street died Friday afternoon after becoming ill at West Nutley station. Cerebrospinal meningitis was the cause and Dr Langdon attended but he died at home. Funeral services were held at his residence with many attending at a local cemetery in the town.
