Nutley veterans plan a parade to three cemeteries with Rev William Stewart and Rev Albert Clement to speak. They meet at the Old Homestead in the Park at 2 30 pm and march at 3. City Fathers and guests join the parade led by the band. Headquarters are at the Old Homestead.

Nutley Woman Sues for Breach of Promise
Miss Mary Zarska of Nutley sues George Crabtree for breach of promise of marriage. The Second District Court will hear the case with Frank M. McDermit representing the plaintiff. The suit alleges the couple agreed to marry July 15, 1901, but the ceremony was postponed and the plaintiff remains unmarried.

Mrs Malvina Broadbent Funeral Held at Icoun Street
The funeral of Mrs Malvina Broadbent widow of Cyprus Broadbent occurred at her Icoun Street residence on Monday afternoon. She was years old and died last Thursday. A member of the Reformed Church, she leaves four daughters and two sons.

Polish laborer Felix McCann kills himself in Centre Street home
Felix McCann also known as Colie Michalowski, a Polish immigrant and son-in-law of Joseph Nawieski, died after shooting himself in the heart at Nawieski's Centre street residence. He had not worked since his wife died of typhoid fever three months earlier and had visited her Bloomfield cemetery weekly. The revolver was bought three weeks ago and his death followed days of reported illness and statements that he would die on the Sunday of his wife’s burial. Chief Knabb oversaw the body. the County Physician issued a burial permit.

Burglars Break In At Councilman Wesseler's Factory
Burglars entered the Franklin Avenue site adjacent to St Paul's Congregational Church by breaking a rear window and forcing the safe. The crime, likely done by tramps, caused minor losses as Councilman John J. Wesseler had left valuables minimal. Repairs estimated at about 50 dollars. Chief Knobb is investigating.

Bridge collapse injures wagon and driver near Brookdale
Payne a truckman and his heavily loaded wagon broke through a bridge near Brookdale as the vehicle sank five feet into the water. Passengers and witnesses, including three local women, reported the accident while bystanders aided Payne and received minor injuries. James R. Hay, Esq., returned to Cleveland after the episode.
