Councilman Howe Recounts South Travel Accident
Councilman Joan Howe and Mrs. Howe report they were aboard a train from Atlanta to Jacksonville that derailed causing several coaches to roll down an embankment. No fatalities besides the engineer reportedly. The Howes were in a sleeper car and remained on the rails.
