Motor vehicle inspectors arrested John Davagne age nineteen of Bloomfield avenue after he removed his hands from the wheel and the car rolled at thirty five miles per hour with the driver’s feet cocked on the wind. Motor Vehicle Commissioner W C Dill suspended Davagne’s license for two months.

Store Keeper Fined for Littering Streets with Circulars

Sabella who runs a market at 216 Franklin avenue was fined $11 by Recorder Post for distributing circulars that littered the sidewalks and roadways on several streets. Isidor Chernin of 167 Franklin avenue was fined $2 for passing a trolley on the wrong side. Patrolman Hoch arrested eight others after a Sunday incident at a local orchard owned by Predata. further court appearances were set for Steffanelli and relatives following a mass formation assault on Harrison street.

Comfort Unit to Host Another Block Dance on August 15

The Soldiers' Comfort Unit will stage another block dance at the same location as before on Thursday night August 15. Mason's orchestra will provide music. Donations include $1 from Mrs. C. P. Fuller and 5,000 yards of khaki thread from John Priestly and items from Kenneth Pearson Club.

Four Men From Local List To Be Called For Partial Service

Youths Arrested After Late Night on Washington Avenue

On Monday night police on Washington Avenue and River Road arrested Andrew Thaller, 21, of Belleville for a fine of $3 and Raffalo Ardhlanzi, 23, of Bruce Street Newark for a hearing tomorrow. Samuel Feinamith of 800 Taaren Avenue Harrison was fined $11 and $3 for related offenses. All were found in or near Passaic Avenue.
