School Head Reengaged for Three-Year Term
Supt. Beachler of the local school system was reengaged for another three-year term by the Board of Education in a Tuesday night meeting. The board approved a ten day leave of absence for Beachler to attend the national convention in Detroit February 22 to 25 with $70 allocated for expenses. Other business included a proposed teacher illuslves amendment, liability insurance for the Lincoln School, and support for a tenure act amendment requiring teachers to sign with boards by April 15 to retain rights for the next year.
