Nutley Cost and Supply Company Plans Expansion

The Nutley Cost and Supply Company held its annual meeting on January 8 at the office. Officers were reelected and directors approved increasing capital stock. The firm will build new buildings and yard facilities to handle masons bonding materials, extend to new directions, and open a Newark sourcing branch without impacting coal wood and ice deliveries.

Martin Giepel Laid to Rest at 75 in Nutley

Martin Giepel died last Friday evening at his Passaic avenue home from pneumonia at age 75. A Nutley resident for nearly sixty years after coming from Germany he worked with Kutt & Co A T Stewart and Witton interests and was with Witton at his death. Funeral services were held at St Marys Church on Monday with Rev Father Foy officiating and burial at Bloomfield Cemetery. He is survived by a widow whom he married recently.
