Nutley Improvement Society reports tree planting along town streets
At the last Nutley Improvement Society meeting a report described nine Hotens on Passaic avenue and Highfield lane, nine Lombardy maples on Highfield lane, ten Norway maples on Nutley avenue, plus a pink horse chestnut at Nutley station and four Gulden altars near the bridge. Three Norway maples and a pink horse chestnut were sent to Park School grounds to Br Philhower. Planting support came from Natley Realty Company, Mr. Whitfield, Mr. Smith and Mr. Hay with cording by Mr. Smith and path cinders donated by Mrs. Morgan. Early spring will reveal the benefit to the avenues.
