Nutley Republican League for Limited Franchises and Equal Taxation met at Dutig's Hall to choose delegates for a county conference and a New ark Congressional conference. Elected to the county conference were George Scrosso Max Kaufmann Conrad A Juerg Thomas Nichols Jr William H Parry Wright Sutcliffe George Hawkesworth. For the Congressional nominating conference the Colby candidate, delegates were Walter Riker A Paxton Arthur Stager Stephen P Vreeland Newton Jacobus with Ellsworth Post alternate. John J Wesseler James Joiner with William F Dittig as alternate.

Tax Sales of Delinquent Real Estate Held in Town Hall

The 1905 delinquent real estate sale occurred Monday at 2 p m led by Collector Dr A H Van Riper. No bidders appeared and the town took over all parcels, which were fewer due to many taxpayers paying before the sale.

Nutley Library Raffle Aims for October Fund Drive

Nutley residents are invited to participate in a raffle for a breeze electrotier to benefit the Nutley Library. Proceeds go to a sinking fund to pay off the library building mortgage. Managers announce a date in October for the drawing, encouraging Nutleyites to subscribe and visit the library during the summer. The library promises a large assortment of books and activities to entertain and educate readers.
