Michael Jannarone of Belleville sped to pass a corner and struck Dr. H. E. Burbank of Lyndhurst near Franklin and Center. Jannarone suffered minor injuries. Dr. Whelan treated him. Burbank said he tried to check the motorcycle but avoided hitting a second cyclist or Jannarone near the corner.

Alexander Hall Sharp aged 86 died Saturday at his son Edwin Sharp’s home on North Road Notley, three weeks after his wife’s death.
