Wanghau CWA Officers Hold Annual Meeting and Exhibits
Wanghau branch of the Country Women's Association held its annual meeting with officers installed by Mrs Burge. The one woman’s work exhibit impressed judges, led by Gwen Wellington aged 16, who won top prize. The report praised branch activity, social events, and wartime fund efforts, noting donations to Mooroopna Hospital and Militia Comforts Fund, with plans to strengthen local community projects.
