Pat Spinola Retires From Oyster Festival Directorship
In 1978 Pat Spinola and Ada volunteered at Norwalk's Oyster Festival, a hobby that grew into a 14 year family venture. As festival director for six years he ends the role at 1991, honored by the Seaport Association for expanding activities including Sheffield Island lighthouse renovation and a school program on Long Island Sound and oystering. The association credits him with structuring the festival to fund wider projects. Continued on page 7.
