Funeral services were held in Evanston for Thomas J. Farrell 62 principal of Von Humboldt Elementary in Columbus after dying July 30 in hospital He taught in Chicago Public Schools since 1926 serving as principal at Morse Arnold and Peabody Elementary Schools and served in the U S Navy 1942 to 1945 Lt. Survivors include his wife Mary Kaye a daughter and two grandchildren.
