Erie Development Service and state agricultural colleges operate a five car educational train on Erie lines from Highland Indiana to Suffern New York stopping at 135 stations. Demonstrations cover electric power plants water systems heating dairy and kitchen fixtures and home farm improvements. Runs Sept 27 to Nov 2 1920 with daily stops lasting about 1.5 hours and both men and women invited.

The Rebekahs observed their 69th anniversary at the lodge rooms on a recent Saturday evening. Veteran jewels were conferred on charter members including Mrs. Hannah Jarrett and Mrs. Mae Allen, both locals, plus Mrs. Agnew now in Canada, and other long-time members with 22 to 18 years of service. Readings, essays, solos, and a "Newspaper Minstrels" performance followed, with Miss Lois Foust directing. About sixty members attended and refreshments were served for a pleasant night.

Two Young Men Held Again in Wyoming and Indiana
Lyle Howell was arrested at Winamac by Sheriff Roo key and is held in Basin Wyoming on sheriff instructions after leaving Indiana on parole. Howell had served six months for a January bootlegging case and left the state in June. He was in correspondence with Miss Iona Scott of Winamac. his father lives in Detroit and relatives in Seattle. Earl Barris remains wanted since a Denham Rosenbaum store burglary more than a year ago and related wire theft. He was arrested in Chicago, bonded at 1500, then picked up on new charges in Knox and later nabbed by Porter County authorities for harness theft at Kouts.
