The Jubilee Poultry Show drew over 500 birds with out-of-town exhibitors pleased and vowing to return for the 20th annual. Judges praised top birds including L. B. Mosher in Barred Rocks and C. R. Deardorff for a sweepstakes Columbian Rock Bullet. War Stauffer and wife attended from LaPark.
Poultry show records list breeds Columbian Rocks Silver Wyandottes White Wyandottees and Reds. Entries name breeders including C R Deardorff F G Wolf W Mosher and Orin Schuyler with multiple birds and placements noted.
An school exhibit shows winners in multiple categories including Illustrated Nursery Rhyme won by Annette Cawhby and Rug Weaving by Hubeny with top placements for Trinosky and Burns. Other events include Slay Modeling by Anton Chizinski, Illustrated Paragraph from Hiawatha by Burns, Paper Pulp Map by Trinosty, One Page Composition by Roginsky, and various maps and high school projects with assigned places.
The Knox Athletic Association stages a boxing card at The Fairy Theatre in Knox on Tuesday eve November 1 at 830. Main bout features Serg Parmley of Knox vs Roy Meyers of St Paul a 10 rounder at 170 pounds. Semi windup pairs Pug Fites Winamac and Don Boostrom Knox in a six round welterweight bout. Curtain raiser Glen and Dick VanDemen Knox in four rounds. Ring tickets Ride seats 2.00 Class B seats 1.50 plus tax.
C. E. Lucas organized events with Mgr. Ili Kor tum guiding contests. Baseball games included Medaryville vs N Judson and Valparaiso vs N Judson with close scores. Valparaiso won the Jubilee Silver Loving Cup by Saturday.
Ross S Graeber son of Mrs Sarah Graeber and Miss Anna Traester a North Judson girl were married last Sunday at 9 30 AM in Crown Point Lutheran parsonage Rev Biester officiated Miss Bertha Traester was bridesmaid and Jay E Graeber was best man They will reside in Rochester with Ross employed on the Erie signal line

The American Legion schedules a county wide Armistice Day event in Knox on Friday November lith with patriotic speeches music and activities ending in a night dance. Uniformed servicemen will appear and the whole county is urged to join the festivities on this memorable occasion.
A number of Knox Royal Neighbors were guests of the local order Tuesday night, all enjoying a fine time.
Mrs Hannah Jarrett traveled from Manchester Iowa after attending the funeral of her sister Mrs S K Myers who died Sept 22 from injuries after being struck by a car while crossing Main Street. Deceased was over 83 and born in LaPorte Indiana. Survived by husband sister brother nephew and several step children.
The Democrats held their town convention at the town hall Tuesday evening presided by G. W. Schricker with Wm Mosher as secretary. Candidates named by acclamation include Trustee 2nd ward L Elmer Mosher Trustee 8th ward Frank Dahike Town Clerk Wm H Kellerman Town Treasurer Charles Hruska Henry E White selected town chairman and Clarence E Knachel secretary.
Unclaimed letters remain in this office as of week ending October 15 1921. Names include Anna Golambeski Gio Serari and others. If not claimed within two weeks the mail will be sent to the Dead Letter Office. Frank J Vessely P.M.
