Jubilee booster notices announce a 19th annual After Harvest Jubilee with daily ball games at the Ball Park. The Poultry Show promises to eclipse all others outside the state show and a home talent play, Peter Piper's Troubles, at Burch's Hall. The Poultry Club meets weekly at the town hall.
The Service Aviation Co of Wabash will deploy an aircraft to North Judson for three days offering passenger flights at seven dollars and fifty cents per ride. This aviation prompt invites readers to try a ride to the clouds.
Exhibits will be housed in the water works building the town hall and the new library with streets for several blocks turned into a midway of amusements and concessions.
Local farmers claim they can produce corn and pumpkins rivaling Illinois and Iowa yields on land valued at 500 to 700 dollars per acre.
Citizens encouraged to tidy streets alleys and yards trim weeds and grass and give homes a fresh coat of paint to please visiting Jubilee guests.
The entertainment committee contracted with F. M. Barnes of Chicago for Hiler's Famous Animal Show. The act features two people, five goats, five monkeys and paraphar nasia in a miniature three-ring circus blending three acts. Monkeys ride saddled mountain goats in cowboy outfits, showcasing notable animal intelligence. An educational yet amusing diversion for all ages.
North Judson plans an up to date amusement including a grand Merry-Go-Round and Ferris wheel. A parachute drop from an airplane will be a daily free attraction. Furnished room rentals during Jubilee should contact Orin Schuyler. A town meeting for Jubilee committees and citizens is set for Thursday and Monday at 8 p.m.
The committee decided not to hold a livestock exhibit this year and plans to allocate the funds as higher premiums for other exhibits and as prizes for the large poultry show.
The exhibits are located along Keller Avenue at Agri culture in the new water-works building Domestic Science Ladies' Art Schools and Relics in the new library Poultry in the old town hall.
Friday October 14 marked Knox Day at the Jubilee with Knox business houses closing. The Knox chamber and band will lead a civic celebration to welcome visitors for the World's Fair. Erie Panhandle and C&O offer reduced rail fares from Chicago to Huntington and Chicago to Peru with multi-day ticket options.
The P C C and St L A R announces special reduced round trip fares of 377 from Chicago for the Jubilee with sale dates October 12 to 15 and return by October 17. Proportioned fares apply from Logansport and all intermediate stations with tickets valid on regular trains.
D. S. Nave, county attendance officer, visited our schools in official capacity on Tuesday and paid this office a friendly call.
At Knox festival last Friday many locals attended the fall event with Saturday repeats. The North Judson Ladies Band led the county hub celebration. Notable actions included Sergi Parmley of Knox defeating Frank Rookey of Winamac in the boxing main, with preliminaries between Riley Beaver and Whitie Clemens, Pug Fites and Kid Curley, plus a Knox youth bout between Dick and Glen Van Deman. Lieut Myers of Culver refereed.
On October 7 and 8 the Hippodrome screens The Right To Happiness a photo-platoon feature in eight reels. Dorothy Phillips stars in dual roles as a Russian anarchist and a moneyed American daughter, with a city burned and rebuilt in eight acts. Tickets from Senior class or theatre box. shows start 7:00 p.m. Adults 80 cents, children 15 cents.
The Knox Woman’s Club opened its 1921 1922 season with a general meeting at the M E church. Miss Florence Boston of Purdue University spoke to mothers in Knox and vicinity on child welfare, stressing milk as a natural food and noting milk and cracker lunches in Evansville and Indianapolis schools for under nourished children. She urged Knox mothers to examine local school child nutrition among all families.
Christian Christensen of English Lake sues Indiana Pipe Line in Lake County Circuit Court for 7000 alleging crop losses from a burst pipe on 500 acres. He had earlier won 17000 in LaPorte and then 10000 on appeal, and intends yearly suits until land regains crop potential.

A four act comedy titled Peter Pipers Troubles is set to stage on Thursday and Jubilee night. The cast includes Chas Hruska Virgil Dolezal Jona Dusek Daniel Grubbins Miss Effie Lain Winifred Barrington and Betsy Bolivar with Mrs A Fisher and Orin Schuyler Dorie Chester. General admission costs 5 cents and reserved seats 50 cents, available at Peterson Watts drug store from Wednesday October 12.
