The county wide enumeration of school children is complete showing seven seve school children in Starke county eight boys and four girls a rate of 64 compared with last year. Jurors have been drawn for the May term of court. The Petit Jury will be called May. Henry Booth visited Winamac Thursday. Marcellus Lucus and companions visited Colorado. Dr W J Solt and daughter from San Pierre were here Saturday. Mrs C A Borders of Royal Centre visited the Borders family. J H Watts passed state board of pharmacy exam. Orin and Karl Schuyler Chas Roney Merrill Manz and Frank Cappuch returned home from lur due commencement exercises and alumni banquet. Mrs Fred Kasch and Mrs Je Knashel attend Rebekahs state convention in Indianapolis as delegates. Mrs H C Miller is seriously ill with heart trouble. Frank Sindelar and wife of Chicago visited Rail Road township relatives. John Russ had a fall injuring two bones in the left wrist. healing well.

Robert Manz went to Elkhart Saturday for a railroad clerical position with the Bee Pour. MISS don spent Monday in Phoenix. PL Payne and Frances, Anna, and Lily Maeman visited Cine Cave Sunday. A crowd is expected for the dedication of the new Catholic church Sunday May 15. Remember Monday May Day at the cemetery. Residents urged to help with grubbing hoes and spades. Ollan began work at Pan Handle depot replacing Robert Noel transferred to the bi. Mary Kanfield, L. Regner, and Oscar Neyner visited Mrs. Ioth Burijanek recently. Ross Graeber returned Monday from Kentland and plans a trip to Atlanta, Georgia for brick factory work. Atty. S. Bybee aided in remonstrance cases for the Kankakee ditch extension in Jasper circuit court. Mrs. Jno. Hernigle visited Chicago with Miss Bessie Raisler who is recovering from appendicitis. Wade Morton and family moved to La Porte for employment. about 26 North Judson residents now live there, with a North Judson colony possible. Comrades A. Hays and Henry C. Hisey of Knox, back from Tennessee, spoke highly of the south and their visit. After a message Wednesday morning about the death of Rudy Potach in Chicago, his brother John rushed to Chicago and found Rudy alive but seriously ill with little hope of recovery.
