Fifteen Young Folks Awarded Diplomas in Commencement
The 1914 graduating class at Bureh's hall held its commencement with blue and gold colors and the motto Not for Ourselves Alone. Esther Atherton delivered the salutatory, Prof. W. W. Black spoke on the value of education, and Hobart Barr gave the valedictory. Fifteen graduates received diplomas: Bertha Clawson, Mary Atherton, Signe Anderson, Frank Pointe, Walter Smith, Harriet Deardorf, Clara Neuport, Olga Altmann, Arthur Miller, Helen Kuester, Firman Knachel, Rueben Mundorf, James Barr, Bessie Cerveny, and Florence Akers.

The Indiana Sunday School Convention begins June 18 in Indianapolis with Mr. W C Hall presiding. A three day program includes county and township sessions, denominational meetings, and separate worker rallies. An ice cream social is planned at Aldine German's Grove on May 16. A remonstrance case on town annexation was decided against the town. officials plan to amend the petition for a July presentation.
