Next Friday and Saturday the North Judson Invitational Amateur Basketball Tournament will be held at the high school gym. Friday features Winamac vs Wheatfield and North Judson vs Medaryville, with more matchups on Saturday and a championship bracket Saturday night. Death of Father and Sick Son Found Together
James Dean died at his home near the county line yesterday afternoon while his son Melville lay ill beside him. Melville was moved to the county farm for care as Coroner Washburn opened an inquest. The elder man, about seventy, left two sisters in Logansport and Hoovers, with Frank Zellers aiding the family.
