Kirkham Bound Over After Preliminary Trial
Bert Kirkham is bound over to the circuit court on a charge of assault and battery with intent to kill Eimus Tunis, uncle of Kirkham, who is hospitalized in Logansport. Tunis was injured Tuesday evening when Kirkham says he was defending his home and slapped Tunis in the doorway, causing him to fall and strike his head on a wooden stick left by children.

Two Ford Cars Collide Near Luther School House
Two Ford automobiles collided near the Luther school house Tuesday night injuring Arden Hay of Union Mills with severe facial lacerations and bruises. P Ald Peppie drove the Union Mills car. passengers included Mrs. Teeple Miss Mabel Wakeman and a Hay family son. The other driver fled after the crash. Union Mills car suffered major damage.
