Tragic drowning of 14 year old Henry Born near Dalton
Henry Born of Dalton Illinois formerly of this place died by drowning last Tuesday after cramps in 80 foot clay hole near the Dalton brick works. He disappeared when entering the water and was recovered after a search through Thursday afternoon. Doctors cited heart failure at entry. Funeral services were held in Dalton and interment followed at North Judson Cemetery after a brief grave service by Rev. Heine.
