Despondent Woman Ends Life in Main Street Home
Mrs. Albert Foust, widow of the town marshal, shot herself with a 32 caliber revolver in front of a bedroom mirror at her Main street home. She had suffered poor health since the death of her daughter Ada eight years prior and had expressed thoughts of not wanting to live. The tragedy occurred around noon with her husband discovering the scene upon returning for lunch. The weapon was kept by Marshal Foust and contained five bullets. Funeral rites were set for Friday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Collier officiating. burial in North Judson cemetery.

Sheriff information led to the return of fourteen year old Lenore Crowthers from Terre Haute. The girl had run off with a carnival company and used the alias Ruth Banks while selling tickets.
