Fatal Accident in North Judson Claims Local Worker
In North Judson a Panhandle freight train fatally struck Samuel Foust as he crossed tracks near the Erie Panhandle crossing. He was dragged for over fifty feet and his body severely mutilated. Foust, nearly 52, left a wife Mary Effie and six children along with several siblings and stepmother. Funeral held at the Methodist church. interment in North Judson cemetery.
