Rousing Kokomo Chamber Meeting At New High School

A large booster meeting of the Kokomo Chamber of Commerce was held in the new High School building. Mr J W Johnson former president and longtime director spoke on cooperation and Kokomo industries. Eleven new members joined. guests included Father Pratt and John Krebser with local clerics in attendance.

Won Their First Game by Chamber of Commerce Basket Ball Crew

The Chamber of Commerce basketball team opened with a 47 to 39 win over DeMotte Five at the High school auditorium on Friday night. DeMotte entered the game with eight results and relied on long shots against the locals tight defense. The home squad wore new green and yellow uniforms and invite fans to see them play Wheatfield next Friday.

Winamac Team Fights Hard But Falls to North Judson

Winamac net men traveled to North Judson on Friday and lost a fast game 22 to 16. The North Judson hosts provided a splendid welcome and the Winamac squad appreciated the spirit shown by players and fans. The Visited school proved a fine crowd and friendship marked the visit. Judyville Founder Judy Makes General Assignment

John F. Judy a Warren County farmer assigns all property to Harley D. Dibhneys of Williamsport Indiana. Liabilities are said to total about 825000 while assets range from 300000 to 400000. Decline in farm land values and lack of market for land prompt the move to avoid lawsuits. Judy owns about 2000 acres in Warren and other counties and founded the town of Judyville fifteen years ago.
