Officials report more than 50 000 farmers applied for mortgage loans totaling about 150 million dollars under the Federal Farm Loan Law. Most applications come from the south and west as the board studies bond rates and public outreach expands.

Road Supervisors Elected in Wayne Township Vote Totals Reported
Saturday election results show low turnout with small vote tallies. Dist 1 incumbent Frank Fisher ran unopposed with 15 votes. Dist 2 Sam Brooks beat Dorse Foust 14 to 8. Dist 8 Frank Koubal Jr led with 6 votes while John Hubeny and James Suchan each received one and two votes respectively for other positions. Dist 4 August Ringhand re elected with 8 votes to 6 for Chas Pingel and 2 for Charlie Flagg. Godfrey Wruck defeated Tom Emmett in Dist 1 and Sam McCarty faced no opposition in Dist 2 at Denham.

Ladies Bazaar a Success by M E Church Aid Society
The annual bazaar and supper at Burch's hall last Friday evening by the Ladies Aid Society proved financially and socially successful. Suppers served and booths thrived. The auction sold well. They raised a little over $200 and thank the public for support.
