Fred Vergin and Billy Muessel, noted South Bend sportsmen, were here last Thursday on a hunting expedition and took back with them $3 dandy mallard ducks from the Kan kakee marshes. It was a great day for the boys, even if Billy did get his feet wet, but he says it was worth it.
