Death of Len Burrows founder of Burrows Camp
Len Burrows founder of Burrows Camp on the Kankakee river died after a lingering cancer at age five. Funeral services were held at his home by Rev Downey of Fair Oaks and interment was at Graceland cemetery Valparaiso. Burrows came from Chicago fourteen years ago and built the camp that became a vacation center with a picture show electric lights a garage a hotel and cafe.
