She leaves six daughters seven sons two sisters and three brothers Funeral services were held at Round Lake church conducted by Rev J A J Tannehill with interment at Round Lake cemetery.

Ford Motor Company surpassed eight million motors with No 8 000 000 produced at the Highland Park plant on a Wednesday night, July 11, as it targets nine million. The seven million mark was reached January 17, with output accelerating to over 7 000 units daily. The period averaged about 6 711 motors per day over 149 working days, with a rapid ramp in capacity aiding faster later milestones.

The county onion growers completed incorporation of their boards of directors at Warsaw last Saturday after a ballot canvass by the elections committee. Meetings for county board incorporations will occur this week, with Thomas G. Chamberlain handling legal work during his Denver stay en route to New York. Trustees for the State Board of the Indiana Farm Bureau Union Growers Exchange will be selected as the Exchange is set up and the first statewide meeting of onion growers’ representatives is held. Twenty five members of the Tuesburg Land company ask the state land board for permission to buy 2640 acres along the Kankakee river in LaPorte and Starke counties at an appraised value of 14897.84 with ditch assessments of 51560. The purchase would transfer 1500 acres to the state for a game preserve under condition the auditor covers the ditch dues. This sale could end the Tuesburg land case which found state title to be rightful. Governor McCray, Ora Davies and the state auditor may inspect the land before final decision.
