The Mutual Morgan Chautauqua wrapped a five day program in North Judson with diverse events. Convict Gang Foiled in Erie Yard Robbery
Three men held up Erie yards Monday night trying to steal from extra detective Dewey Black who caught one suspect in the yards. The captured robber confessed to multiple robberies and escape from a West Virginia penitentiary as officers recovered two revolvers and several stolen kodaks from the criminals’ baggage.

Brown and white 1923 license plates will be issued as cars head to the paint shop next winter.
