George Paulsen and W. J. Replogie with wives visited county capitol and Culver respectively. Edward, 18, son of George Davidson and Dr. Fisher, was taken to Lakeside hospital for an intussusception operation and died at 12:30 a.m. Monday. Frank Battinger travelled to Chicago to bring the body home.

Death of Former Knox Resident Mrs George M Yeakel
Former Knox resident Mrs Elizabeth Martin Hay Yeakel died April 21 1920 after a long illness. She was born May 8 1839 in Jefferson County New York and married George M Yeakel in Niles Michigan in 1877. She taught school across Canada New York and Indiana for about 20 years and was active in Episcopal church and Eastern Stars. Funeral services were held in Knox with North Judson friends attending. burial at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Aged Resident Passes On In North Judson Community
The elderly North Judson resident John Hopp Jr died last Wednesday at 10 40 pm at his son Johns home on Main Street aged 89 years 5 months 10 days He was born in Posen Germany on November 1 1880 and came to America in 1870 He lived in Blue Sea and Jackson township before moving to North Judson He leaves a widow and 7 of their 10 children plus 21 grandchildren He was interred beside family at Highland cemetery after services at the home and Lutheran church with Rev Hemne present Relatives from Logansport Chicago Knox Medaryville Ober and other towns attended the funeral

Sophia Decker Fleishman died April 19 at her son Benjamin Fleishman’s home in Jackson township aged 90 years 10 months and 2 days. Born January 17 1829 in Perry County Ohio she married Gottlieb Fleishman in 1865. Survived by two children they lived in Starke County since 1867 with husband dying in 1906. Interred at Round Lake cemetery after services at Round Lake church led by Rev Tannehbill.
