Mrs John L Lain 69 died of heart trouble Saturday afternoon in Mosher's store. She had stopped to pay taxes and shop after coming from Beardstown and Wayne township. Survived by four children Wayne Louis Henry and Mrs Charles M Reeg. Funeral at Lena Park home led by Rev Collier. burial in North Judson cemetery.

Obituary for Sophia Kopka Fritz Hauff and family ties
Sophia Kopka Fritz Hauff died April 1920 at age 70 after pneumonia. Born in Germany June 18 1849 she moved to Francesville Indiana in 1873. She married William Fritz in 1874 and had six children, three died young. She later married Samuel Hauff in 1884. he died in 1912. Surviving children include Lena Fansler, Gustie Coleman, Charlie Fritz and Amiel Selmer. step-sons Gust Hauff and Edward Hauff. 22 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
