William Y. Hine, a longtime member of the community, died Monday night after a brief illness. He was known for his work with local organizations and was respected by friends and neighbors. The family will hold services at the local church. He leaves a widow and several descendants.
A longtime leader connected with the town’s growth over the last fifty years has died at age 74. His efforts shaped development, industry, and civic life, leaving a lasting imprint on the community. He is mourned by colleagues, family, and neighbors.
W. Hine, 74, died Monday night after a week of illness. Born in Philadelphia, he moved to Cincinnati then No. Judson, Indiana, enlisted in 1862, served as a corporal in Indiana infantry, and married twice. Funeral at his residence followed by North Judson Cemetery interment. Franklin Sautter to spend vacation with parents.
