Fox Chapel High Students Arrested After Center Oak Burglary
Seven Fox Chapel High School students were arrested by McCandless police after a March 24 burglary on Center Oak Drive. Suspects include Michael Kuczynski 17 Aspinwall, Lory McSorley 16 Aspinwall, M Kander 16 Fox Chapel, Robert A Scinico 17 Sharpsburg, Robert Diehm 17 One, and a 15-year-old Q Hara Township boy. Two juveniles remained in the car. drugs were found in the vehicle and one suspect faced a concealed weapon charge. Watches coins and jewelry were recovered from the scene.

An 18 year old Ross youth was admitted to North Hills Passavant Hospital after being struck on Seibert Road following a two car collision. James Bevan 3361 Babcock Blvd was treated for bruises and scratches. Korneff 25 of Perry Highway faces plates charge. a Centennial passenger had a fractured nose and rib abrasion. Two women injured include Eileen Hileman and Elaine Miller with Miller treated for a trained lefthand. Deborah Slayton 19 suffered knee and forehead bruises.

Boy Faces Firearms Hearing In Juvenile Court
A 14 year old West View boy faces a firearms hearing before Juvenile Court Judge Maurice B Cohn on Monday April 23. Police were called Feb 3 by Mrs Martha Lyles who said teens outside her home were yelling and using obscene language. Three youths fled but were caught and charged with disorderly conduct and minor drinking law violations. Further investigation showed the 14 year old possessed a loaded .32 handgun and a knife. He was charged with violation of the arms act and admitted the gun was his father's.

Youth Charged After Arrest By McCandless Police
Frank W Mutz III aged 18 of Nicholson Road Franklin Park was arrested by McCandless police for a dangerous drug violation. Forty one pills were found in his car after a Route 19 traffic stop on March 21.
