Five Ross youths tied to dynamite theft and arson
Ross police seized dynamite detonator and a stolen auto and trailer from five youths aged 15 and 16 who admitted plans to literal pig blast. They also confessed to burning a barn at Gumbert and vandalizing quarry property on 7700 McKnight Road. The youths were turned over to Juvenile Court.

Avalon paving program and council actions described
The Avalon council discusses a summer paving program including storm sewers and lighting improvements in alleys.
