Four Indicted for Drug Charges in Ross Two Area
Four North Hills men face court on drug charges after a Ross district grand jury indictment this week. William J. Wilson and Michael P. Flood, both 20, of Stevens Drive, Ross, along with Christopher E. Wrenand, 22, and Peter Dausch, 24, of Stevens Drive and Weland Ave Hampton, were named. Police raids Aug 20 at White Oak apartments yielded marihuana hashish and LAL capsules. Dausch was arrested Aug 22 in a Winchester Realty lot. Police from Ross West View and McCandless aided the apartment raids. A separate theft noted: a storage box from Thrift Drug Co. in Shoppers Plaza, Hampton, was reported missing sometime Tuesday Jan 11.

She was sister to Elsie M McBride and Joseph F Borrick. Her late husband William T Gwyer was born in Swansea Wales. The son Herbert L Gwyer is a conference lay leader with the Western Pennsylvania Conference of the United Methodist Church and employed by Joseph Horne Co.

Traffic signals down. police used emergency power. Phone system briefly strained by high call volume.

Fire destroys old Ross garage on Perrysville Ave
The former C. H. Moeller Auto Repair garage at 4601 Perrysville Ave in Ross burned last night. Six Ross fire departments plus West View responded around 8 30 p m and confined the blaze to the garage. Moeller's Market on the same property was undamaged. The site has been vacant since December 15. No damage estimate or cause released. Traffic along Perrysville Ave was rerouted during the fire. McCandless mechanic Kenneth Hoge was at the scene and speculated youths may have started the blaze.

Pine teen charged in hit and run on Babcock and Roderick
A Pine teenager was charged with leaving the scene of an accident on Babcock Boulevard at Roderick Drive in Ross on December 18. Richard Lane of Perry Highway drove a car owned by Mrs. Pat Bickerton and showed an old learner permit. He was arraigned by District Justice August Barrante and set for a January 20 hearing at 8 pm.
