North Hills districts held reorganization sessions on the first December Monday as required, though some boards delayed. The article notes results of meetings held this week and the officers elected for the year.
Pine-Richland Joint School Board reorganized at Pine Junior High School cafeteria on Monday December 7 appointing Eugene Ruell as president to replace DeWit Blank and J T Brinkley as vice president replacing Richard Lent. Lee A Donaldson Jr named solicitor for a year. R B Young elected president replacing Brinkley with Brinkley as vice president. Raymond R Goehring reappointed solicitor. O J English named Pine Richland president replacing Howard Brogan with Paul A Hunter as vice president. Arthur Waltenhaugh appointed in July to a one year solicitor term.
Shaler Norman H. Rea was re elected president Thomas R. Neely was reap president in Shaler and Fred L. pointed xuliator. Plischner was elected vice president to replace Albert H. ORES BEE 5 in santiage. Regular meetings set for the second Monday of each month at the municipal building Wetzel Road.
Directors rearranged at Jef frey School with scheduled actions noted for Welzel Road on Monday December 7.
The Reserve Township School Board reorganized with Richard G. Zimmer as president, William G. Scholz as vice president, Elmer T. Kusluch as secretary, and Carl R. Plalzer as treasurer. Edward A Banovatz joins as fifth member. The board reappointed Alvin J. Ludwig as solicitor and delinquent tax collector, Joseph Grandrich as special tax collector, and Pittsburgh National Bank as depository.
North Hills Jointure Harvey Furey of West View is replaced as president by Edward Barth of Ross. Mrs. Mary Phillips becomes vice president. Robert W. Smiley is reappointed solicitor. North Hills News Record named official newspaper. David Pennington elected president of Ross Board to replace Barth. Stewart Lockhart elected vice president. Avonworth Union School District re elected president Charles H L Snyder of Ohio Township and vice president Ralph Dyer McKee. Ira Yeck remains secretary Fred Smith treasurer and Donald Ratchford assistant treasurer. M M Grubbs and George W Gerlach elected to five year terms on the Avonworth Union School Authority.
Hampton Dr Dr LW Earley is re elected president of Lampton School Comer Mount Royal Boulevard Board with John Pedpa as vice president. Virgil F. Bears appointed treasurer. no secretary named. Howard Hunter nominated. Board to meet monthly on the second Wednesday. directors meet in the High School faculty.

Moore is a director of the Civic Association and chief engineer of the Pittsburgh Telephone Co.
Dozens of North Hills residents receive notice of entry letters as state planners map Line A. The project, designed to clear the route within two years, involves soil borings, aerial surveys, and detailed drawings. Final design contracts were awarded to Swindell-Dressler Corp and others with interchanges planned from Evergreen Road to Five Points.

Richland Chief Har old RB Kendrick extinguished a truck fire at the Damiel L Gordon residence on Gribbs Road Thursday. Firemen arrived minutes later to assist. The truck belonged to Sprang Well Drillers of Middlesex. Escapes injury: Margaret Seth, 20, of Wilkinsburg, skidded into a fence on Peeples Road in Ross, suffering head injuries and a bruised knee, treated at North Hills Passavant Hospital after midnight Friday.
