Grand jury indicts Shaler musician
Nicholas Promakin of Shaler a well known orchestra leader and Pittsburgh music store owner was indicted by a federal grand jury on three counts of attempted income tax evasion for returns filed in 1965 1966 and 1967. Each count carries up to 10 000 fine or five years imprisonment or both. Promakin denied the charges saying he did not know the grand jury was hearing the case.

A Hill District man, Robert H Ewing, 47, of 2417 Wylie Ave, was arrested by two North Hills police departments on charges of disorderly conduct and larceny by trick. He allegedly used a trick at Crest Gas Station and Hieber's Gulf Station to cheat attendants out of $20 total. His hearing is scheduled for Wednesday before District Justice James H Bowne. Two occupants in his car were not charged.

Ross man indicted for stamps theft

Biggest parade on record for firemen in Arnold
