A month long campaign runs from August 1 to September 15 to register Allegheny County residents for the Tuesday election. Elections Director Will E Alton lists a schedule of district centers and dates including Ross Street and Forbes Avenue downtown Pittsburgh. New voters must be 21 by November 5, 1969.
