The Southern Enterprise barge John Tr. King, owned by Mossra Thidson & Bros. of Norfolk and others, towed by the Asher J from Isattimore, brings 1,100 long steel rails for the Seaboard railway. It is the largest cargo to this port from Baltimore. The craft can carry 19,000,000 feet of lumber and 100 tons of iron on about fourteen feet draft, and is part of a fleet of thirteen barges operated by the firm in the coastwise trade between Norfolk and Baltimore.
