A London reformist fury denounces the Church of England for corruption and non residence among 10,987 benefices. It claims 1,632 incumbents hold multiple livings, with 4,743 curates serving under absentee landlords, and argues the system mirrors military and naval abuses in a blunt attack on privilege and inequality.
