Hilltop Donates Six Acres for Anderson Township Park Plan
Hilltop Basic Resources Inc. proposes gifting six acres at Kellogg Avenue for a township recreation area to be developed with a soccer field baseball diamond tennis courts playground shelter and parking. The Avon Township planning commission gave tentative approval while Hilltop pursues zoning approval for an aggregate terminal nearby. The plan also notes flood history and alignment with a federal matching funds program, with park board support and an expected March 22 trustees presentation.
