State action challenges major recreation plan
Six miles upstream on the East Fork of the Little Miami River a 2100 acre reservoir and a 10000 acre, 39.5 million dollar Corps project faced state scrutiny. Ohio ODNR restudied environmental effects and the attorney general filed suit against the Corps over NEPA compliance and alternatives for impounding 12 miles of river. Two Anderson Township Boys Charged With Window Breakings
Two youths from Anderson Township are charged with juvenile delinquency for malicious destruction of property on nine counts tied to a string of window breakings along Beechmont Ave. Col. Daniel Wolfangel said a 16 year old from Anderson High School and a 17 year old not in school were arrested after tips from local patrolmen. Arrested Sunday by Sgt. Frank Trainor and Ptl.
