Steffen sworn in as Anderson Township trustee

Albert J. Steffen was sworn in as the newest Anderson Township trustee, chosen over Richard Sayers after a week of deliberation. Steffen, a 56 year old attorney with deep township ties, intends a five year term and plans to run for his own four year term in November.

Books sale to aid Anderson Library project

The Anderson Library Committee hosts a two day book sale at Beechmont Mall on February 28 and March 1 during shopping hours. Proceeds support the new Anderson branch to open at State and Five Mile Roads in spring. Donations accepted at Mt. Washington branch, M E Lyons YMCA, or Ohio License Bureau Beechmont Mall. Committees formed for study of Anderson Township plan

Eight Working Review Committees are formed to study issues in Anderson Township and report to the Citizen Advisory Committee. The CAC merged some groups to eight subcommittees and set a February 9 meeting at Anderson Middle School to define research tasks, with attendance details for participants.
