Steffen Likely Named Anderson Township Trustee
Albert J. Steffen is expected to be named the new Anderson Township Trustee at a 7:30 p.m. meeting at the Beechmont Avenue fire station. Trustees Thomas Taylor and Robert Dorsey chose Steffen over another candidate after a week of deliberation, with formal nomination to follow. The 44 year old attorney, campaign manager for Dorsey in 1979, lives on Asburyhills Drive and has been active in township Republican circles. He would replace John O'Brien, who resigned Jan 4 to join the Ohio House. Other applicants included Francis Wolfangel and Nancy Klinger among 14 total contenders.
